Controllers are usually used in any design system to meet the performance specifications or to improve the responses of the system by modifying it. In order to do so, the designing rules of different types of controllers have to be fully understood before embarking to design these controllers to achieve the required performance.
There is a wide range of controllers that cater for individual needs of improving the performances of different models in different applications. In this research study, two types of controllers are studied and chosen to be implemented into the dynamic model of a Combined Cycle Plant to improve the plant's performances. These controllers are:
